This privacy policy explains how Geneki Technologies Private Limited ("Geneki", "we", "us" or "our"), a company incorporated in India (CIN: U62099UP2024PTC195070), collects, uses, shares and protects personal data when you visit our website, contact us, join a product waitlist or work with us.

For the purposes of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"), Geneki is the data fiduciary for the personal data described in this policy. Where we process personal data on behalf of a client as part of a project, we act as that client's data processor and their privacy notice applies.

Data we collect

We collect only what we need for the purposes set out below.

Information you give us

• Enquiries: your name, work email, organisation, area of interest and the contents of your message.
• Product waitlists: your email address and the product you are interested in.
• Client engagements: business contact details and information needed to deliver and invoice our services.

Information collected automatically

• Technical data: IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited and the date and time of your visit, collected through server logs.
• Cookies: small files that keep the website working and, if you agree, help us understand how it is used. See Cookies below.

We do not knowingly collect sensitive personal data such as financial, health or biometric information through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us.

How we use your data

We use personal data to:

• respond to your enquiry and discuss a potential project;
• acknowledge your enquiry by email with a reference number;
• if you join a product waitlist, email you when the product launches and send occasional news and updates about Geneki products. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and you can unsubscribe at any time;
• deliver, manage and invoice services under a contract with you or your organisation;
• operate, secure and improve this website;
• comply with our legal, tax and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Legal basis and consent

We process personal data on the basis of your consent, which you give when you submit a form on this website, or for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act, such as performing a contract or meeting a legal obligation.

You may withdraw your consent at any time, as easily as you gave it. Withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before you withdrew it.

Sharing your data

We share personal data only where necessary, with:

• Service providers who host our website, deliver email or provide software we use to run our business. They act on our instructions and are bound by confidentiality and data protection obligations.

• nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity;
• raise a grievance with us, and if it is not resolved, complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

To exercise any of these rights, email info@geneki.in with "Privacy request" in the subject line. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use essential cookies that are needed for the website to work. If we use analytics cookies to understand how visitors use the site, we will ask for your consent first, and you can change your choice at any time.

To protect our forms from spam and automated abuse, we use Cloudflare Turnstile. When you use a form, Turnstile checks signals from your browser and device (such as your IP address and browser characteristics) to tell people from bots. This is an essential security measure; Cloudflare processes this data under its own Turnstile privacy addendum and does not use it for advertising.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the website from working.

Children

This website and our services are intended for businesses and adults. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has given us personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes, we will highlight them on this page or contact you directly.
